Thanks to Andrew

The Carnegie Library in Bryan has a new name.

The library that opened in 1902 thanks to a $10,000 grant from Andrew Carnegie is now known as The Carnegie Center of Brazos Valley History. It features large genealogical collections, photographs and historical documents pertaining to Bryan and The Research Valley region.

Of note: The building is the only one of the Carnegie libraries in Texas that was built without a basement. It is also closed Wednesdays.
