The secret is in the sauce
Published Feb 01, 2008

In Bryan, I had dinner at Caffé Capri. The restaurant was founded by Rami Cerone, a graduate of Texas A&M. He started the business solely on money from cash advances on his credit card. The gamble paid off. The food is great. I had a simple spaghetti dish because the sauce is the star of the menu. Rami says the sauce is based on a family recipe so special that when Caffé Capri first opened, his father would clear the kitchen after closing twice a week to make 30 gallons at a time. Every week they sold out, so Rami learned the recipe.
